Day One

2pm - 6:11pm

So far I've fed my new baby Giovanni four time, had to burp him three, and only one diaper change!

On my way home, I got a ride from my father, which was very, very helpful! Giovanni needed to be burped and it took him fifteen minutes. The entire ride home. I got a few many looks from men, woman and even a policeman!!

Once home, I called my boyfriend (Giovanni's dad) and he helped me out a lot with burping especially. We take turns burping the baby if it starts taking forever.

An interesting event, though, happen on the walk over to the beau's house. A man didnt catch the bus, and started heckling (harassing) my boyfriend (Ill just call him James, hah!) and I. "Why didnt you stop the bus for me?!" He was yelling.
Seeing if it would work, I said that I had better concerns and that I was more caring for my son's well-being. Seeing the bracelet that holds the charm to my wrist (in order to let baby know his mom is here) but not the charm, the man decided that Giovanni was a real baby, three to four months old, and let James and I on our way!

Thank you Giovanni!!

6:12pm- 8:24pm

So far, in this time segment, I've burped Giovanni four times, fed him twice, and changed his diaper twice as well.

Nothing too eventful happened from 6:12pm to 8:24, save I had to eat dinner one-handed, Giovanni met James' parents, and the child seemed to be most active during this time!!

Giovanni was passed around during my dinner time, because he needed constant burping. He was given to James (my boyfriend), then to James' mother (who seemed nervous to be holding my baby, even though electronic!), and back to me. I managed to finish dinner!

So far, Time-Records are Seventeen minutes for a feeding, and twenty-five for a burping. Talk about a long time!!

8:40pm- 5:40am

He woke me up with horrible fussy screaming when I nodded off nearing nine pm. He woke me and James up, screamed like all hell at us for a minute, then went back to sleep. Safe to say we were NOT happy with Giovanni.

When I had gone back to my place after being picked up by Dad I slept with my lights on for a long time. I had forgotten aobut my side table light, so eventually I plugged that in and just slept with natural light unless of course G started crying, then I flipped that light on and set to work. Baby woke me up also every time I woke up for the washroom and turned on a light. Maybe it was fuss or something with the light switch set off his (electronics) crying.

Though I think Giovanni is colicy!! Al he does is eat and burp and burp and burp. Over and over again. Child woke me so many times during the night- it was insane.
